As a young boy from Germany my parents acquired the ruins of a small castle in Germany’s lower Rheinland. The day my parents acquired the ruins, my father turned it into his mission to rebuild the castle into its old glories. During the rebuilding process I was always right by his side… witnessing how he was looking for solutions to keep the original exterior and modernizing the interior with the newest building solutions on the market…

This was the time when I started to love wood working. My interests reached a peak when our father decided to move to northern California where we later lived under 200ft tall coastal Redwood trees.

After graduating high school I decided to become a certified journeyman finish carpenter and furniture maker.

I graduated in 2002 from the Trades Collage of Düsseldorf, Germany with my degrees and started working in the trades.
